Working Student Asphalt Engineer

To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for a part-time Working Student Asphalt Engineer (m/f/d) starting on 01.09.2024 (Berlin, hybrid).

• Assist in the development of new bitumen / asphalt concepts.
• Conduct analytical reports on newly developed products and our asphalt projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Help in preparing product documentation, presentations, and reports.

• Studying a master’s degree in asphalt technology or a related field.
• English and/or German language
• Hands-on experience with bitumen and binder materials.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for sustainability and innovative construction solutions.

Ecopals GmbH is a sustainable construction material start-up based in Berlin, currently focused on developing resource-efficient solutions for the road construction industry. Founded in
2021, our inaugural product line, EcoFlakes, enhances the bonding properties of asphalt mixtures, thereby improving road durability. CO2 emissions can be significantly reduced through an
energy-efficient process and the use of recycled plastic.

The product line is made from plastics that would otherwise be incinerated. Proven in over 30 projects, including on highways, ecopals has demonstrated its effectiveness. We are now
