We are now looking for an
Experienced Electrical Engineer Grid connection Solar
located in our offices in Berlin or Hamburg.
You have the following key accountabilities
- Electrical design for medium voltage and high voltage grid connection
- Electrical design for large-scale PV plants
- Providing expert know-how in electrical engineering to the Engineering team, to the project teams, and our Business Unit
- Discussing technical requirements for grid connections with grid operators
- Supporting our Development team in finding the most economic grid connection
- In construction phase, being the main technical interface to our partners for installation and quality assurance ;

To make it a bit easier for you, we have distinguished between qualifications we see as key-criteria, and such that are beneficial, but should not keep you from applying if you do not have

- It is necessary that you have profound knowledge in electrical engineering and MV/HV grid connections
- Accordingly, you hold a master degree in electrical engineering with several years of relevant work experience
- You need to be familiar with relevant norms and standards for electrical design in Germany (VDE)
- Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written;
- You are passionate for renewable energy;
- If you are experienced in the electrical design of large-scale PV plants, great., if not, you can learn this
- Good verbal communication skills in German are a plus, but not mandatory
