At IU, we are looking for a Mid-level Salesforce Engineer (m/f/d) with solid technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions. You’ll work on diverse
projects, from custom Apex and Lightning developments to integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs. Reporting to the Salesforce Engineering Manager, you’ll apply your knowledge
of Salesforce platforms, programming, and database management to deliver high-quality results. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative
environment and is committed to continuous learning and improvement.
We are looking for someone to join one of our office locations within Germany (eg Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, etc) or residing remotely within Germany or United Kingdom.
Your tasks

Design and implement pragmatic Salesforce solutions, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.

Develop and maintain scalable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and design patterns within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.

Contribute to quality assurance processes, including writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the reliability of solutions.

Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative design sessions, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.
Your Profile
-
Several years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components as well as an understanding of web development
technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Experience with database management and proficiency in SOQL and SQL query languages.

Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs as well as Platform Events.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Fluent in English with strong communication skills, capable of presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner.
