About the opportunity

We are seeking for a Manager- IT Service Delivery (All Genders) to join our IT Service Delivery team on our journey, consistently to deliver exceptional
experiences.

The IT Service Delivery Germany Team is the face of IT for our Berlin-based Heroes, providing end-user support and acting as the first local point of contact at our Hero Campus. The
team, consisting of Junior and Senior System Administrators, operates from our IT Service Desk and supports users remotely via JIRA tickets and Slack. Our mission is to provide
excellent services, enabling seamless work with IT devices across various locations. The long-term goal is to ensure high-quality IT support, efficient hardware and software
management, and continuous improvement in user satisfaction.

Your mission:

  • Lead and manage a team of junior and senior system administrators, enabling a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee end-user support activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage large-scale IT projects, including hardware/software rollouts and system upgrades.
  • Manage/Oversee budgeting, hardware procurement, inventory, and lifecycle efficiently.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyse service metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, managing dependencies and expectations.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for quality and cost-effective solutions.

What you need to be successful

Your Heroic skills:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge in IT infrastructure management and endpoint solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in handling various IT services such as onboarding/offboarding, software installation, access management, and troubleshooting (L1/L2).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and manage dependencies.
  • Experience in managing hardware procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fast-paced industries like tech, e-commerce, or food delivery.
  • Familiarity with using ticketing systems such as JIRA.
  • Knowledge of managing IT services in a global context.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS or a related field + ITIL Certification is a plus.
