Your Mission
MBition, a Mercedes–Benz subsidiary, is bringing the automotive industry into the future! How? We are working on a software-defined architecture, which allows us to create
state-of-the-art customer functions that span one or more domain controllers with significant processing power. One of these high-performance domain controllers is used for automated
driving functions (e.g. automated driving on highways).
We do this in Berlin, Sofia and Sindelfingen as a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG, which has been perfecting the art of moving people, products and services from A to B for more
than 120 years. With an international team of 700 employees, we want to integrate people who appreciate quality, creativity and teamwork just as much as we do. Together we create
passionate technology on exciting topics like automated and autonomous driving, infotainment systems or mobile APPs.
The IT Infrastructure & Security Team takes care of the typical infrastructure requirements of the MBitioneers. We ensure daily IT Support, provide Equipment and Licenses and ensure a
solid working infrastructure. At last, but not at least, we keep the infrastructure safe and secured. We do this with a great engaged and highly motivated team of different expertise
and background. Team members are working independently on various challenging topics. And we need YOU to help us shape the future!
Sneak preview of your future tasks
As an intern in out IT Team, you will be responsible for:
- Support our developers and help solve technical issues regarding our physical infrastructure in collaboration with other infrastructure experts
- Work on Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) for ticket tracking and documentation
- Collaborate on complex projects (new buildings, implement requirements from development projects)
- Support general infrastructure operations and provide assistance to other team members on Asset Management
Your Profile
- You are currently studying Information Technology or other Computer Science fields
- You are eager to learn about working in a fast-paced environment
- You have an affinity for new technologies and the automotive industry
- Good technical knowledge of networking systems and protocols with some hands-on experience on network configuration
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Experience with working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A curious & problem-solving mindset, able to work independently
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in German is a plus.
