Founders Associate

At Marvelous, we combine a €100 million fund with a mission to tackle the ecological crisis by investing in DeepTech startups. We envision a future-fit economy, thriving within planetary
boundaries to the benefit of all. Therefore, we invest early-stage in climate deep tech startups in the interconnected sectors of Construction, Industry, AgriTech & Food. Our goal is
ambitious: By 2040, we aim to help save 100 million tons of CO2 equivalent annually and tackle other environmental challenges.

At Marvelous, we are looking for a person who shares our vision and commitment to a sustainable future.

• Your fundraising talent: Play a pivotal role in our fundraising efforts by managing important documents, conducting thorough research on potential investors, and helping
  to develop and maintain investor relationships.
• Your analytics and consulting: Conduct independent research and analysis, support project and business development, and be involved in preparing presentations and reports
  as well as the planning and implementing internal tasks.
• Your contribution to innovation: Help us analyze and develop strategies for our start-up investments that are based on scientific breakthroughs and address the ecological
  crisis.
• Your attitude: Entrepreneurial, visionary, and pioneering; enjoy working together and helping to shape a dynamic team; flexibility and commitment.

What you should bring with you:

• Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, economics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on entrepreneurship.
• Experience: Initial professional experience, whether as an intern, working student or in a similar setting, preferably in a start-up, VC, or consulting environment. A
  good understanding of the VC landscape is an advantage. Diverse backgrounds are welcome and will be considered for their merits.
• Competencies: Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills with the ability to execute projects independently. Proactive, with a can-do attitude and a
  willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), experience with CRM software is a plus but not required. German and English language skills at C1
  level.

• Location: Berlin, with remote work option & flexible working hours to fit around your studies
• Type: Part-Time, 20 hours/week
