Your tasks:

  • You combine web, eCommerce and CDP data to identify relevant target groups and derive data-driven recommendations for our marketing and eCommerce teams
  • You analyze and aggregate behavioral eCommerce and CRM data, evaluate their quality, and derive relevant attributes for customer segmentation
  • You design and test segmentation models (e.g. RFM, clustering, K-Means), prioritize target groups according to activation potential and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders in the
    areas of acquisition and retention
  • You will work with the data engineering team on the implementation of automated segmentation processes (e.g. via Airflow) and ensure a clean data pipeline and its ongoing validation
  • You create reusable data tables and data models for integration into CDPs (e.g. Lytics, Treasure Data) and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo, Looker Studio)
  • You present your findings clearly, purposefully and convincingly to internal stakeholders
  • You contribute your own ideas, develop existing segmentations further and proactively propose new approaches to activating our target groups

You meet these professional requirements:

  • A successful degree in statistics, data science, business informatics or a comparable analytical subject
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in analyzing customer, behavioral, or CDP data – ideally in the music, media, sports, or entertainment industry
  • Very good SQL knowledge and experience with the manual implementation of segmentations
  • Python know-how and experience in machine learning are advantageous but not required
  • Good technical understanding of data architectures, CDPs and data protection (e.g. GDPR, GCP)
  • Confident use of web analytics and tracking tools and the ability to prepare insights from heterogeneous data sources in a clear and understandable manner
  • Experience in project management, ideally with tools such as Monday, Kanban, Scrum, Gitlab or Jira
  • Strong communication skills in German and English – both written and oral
