Manager (m/f/x) D2C Operations

Your role:
As the Manager D2C Operations, you will play a critical role in aligning Yamaha’s Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) marketing and services strategy with the business objectives of the YME Sales Business
Unit, YME BCX, and YCJ. You will be responsible for driving D2C revenue growth, profitability, and ensuring the smooth integration of D2C operations into Yamaha’s global standards. This will
involve collaborating with senior management, influencing business units, and executing marketing campaigns that enhance customer lifetime value (LTV).

Your duties:

  • Implementing a Pan-European D2C marketing and services action plan, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Leading the D2C Operations Division, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to Yamaha’s procedures
  • Participating in global and regional strategy discussions, shaping the D2C team structure, and fostering a performance-driven culture
  • Overseeing revenue forecasting, operational expenditure management, and reporting to senior leadership
  • Representing Yamaha at internal and external events, including market and dealer visits
  • Ensuring brand, legal, and operational compliance, especially concerning competition and cartel laws
Your profile:

  • Extensive senior-level experience in managing teams and operations, ideally within a D2C or e-commerce environment
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies, with a focus on growth, profitability, and customer engagement
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, customer engagement strategies, and campaign management
  • Strong sales acumen with experience driving revenue and aligning with gross profit and sales plans
  • Exceptional financial planning and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Outstanding communication skills to influence stakeholders and ensure effective execution of business and marketing plans
  • Experience working in Pan-European or global settings, with the ability to adapt and influence strategy across diverse regions
