Role and Responsibilities: Full Time Associate Technical Applications Specialist position supporting AEGIS/BMD/SSDS systems providing logistics services in support of obsolescence/upgrades
and provisioning for DDGs and CGs in the fleet.
Position Qualifications: Must have an Associate’s Degree and 1-3 years of applicable experience or no degree and 5 years of applicable experience.
Must be able to review Maintenance Plans, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), inventory lists, Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), Allowance Equipage Lists (AELs), Support and Test Equipment (STE),
Common Support Equipment (CSE), and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE).
Must be able to research and provide part provisioning support, developing hardware inventory lists and system configurations.
Must be able to learn and utilize various databases and tools (i.e. SMART, One Touch, ICAPS, LS21, NSDR, MBPS, etc.).
Must have attention to detail and be able to develop logistics support status reports.
Must be able to inventory, track, research, and document status of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and the COTS Management Plan (DCMP).
Must be able to analyze Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTS) documentation.
Must attend various meetings (Branch, Teams, Training, Status, etc.).
Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, data entry).
Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision, performing and completing tasks with limited guidance.
Able to follow company policies and procedures.
Able to write, speak, and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills: A Logistics experience.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to travel if/when required.
